To My Classmates

As a member of CHS Class of 1979 and the Alumni Association I am anxiously looking forward to meeting and engaging with you and your family.  This will be an awesome time to network and re-establish linkages.  The education and fun activities scheduled will not only provide inspiration but assist in lifestyle changes for a healthier you. I, particularly am looking forward to the activities, cultural, educational and diabetes health awareness. However, I hope with this reunion, my classmates will take time to access the critical issues that affects the community which the Alumni Association can accomplish with all of our assistance.

To My Classmates!

It was such a pleasure to meet some of my classmates, and we had such a great time at our meet and greet. I can’t wait for our week of activity in June

Claudette,

To My Classmates!

I’m elated to be part of Our 40th CHS Reunion. I am sending Kudos to our hard working reunion committee members who have worked tirelessly to make this fine event possible.

It’s a sweet and in some cases bitter moment. I will get to re-acquaint with many whom I completely lost touch with for many, many moons, and remember those whom left too soon. Prayers!

As I go thru my year book, which sat at my Moms since I brought it home from school, I remenice on the good times my friends and I, enjoyed at school. We’ve lost a few since but many still standing. God Bless. The memories are as if yesterday. And though many of us have never met, I remember many of the faces, whether during change of class, on the bus, lunch time in our hanging spots, sports events, etc.

We’ve since entered careers, raised families, fought wars, faced challenges of health, divorce, untimely deaths, and personal setbacks. Some have accomplished great things by becoming Teachers, Lawyers, Sales people, Doctors, n more. Class 1979 made its mark.

So here we are 40yrs later, my first reunion since. Ready and eager to hear what each has been up too. We will share a great many stories. Some of them may even be true. For me, I’ll rejoice in each and every one presence.

As someone said, ” By living this long we’ve ALL become more valuable in commodities marked by silver hair, gold teeth, ( don’t judge), gemstones in our kidneys, sugar in our blood, lead in our butts, iron in our arteries, and loads of that renewable energy, natural gas.” Lol

Live, love, laugh.

Looking forward to seeing every one . Hope my anxiety permits.

GOD BLESS CHS CLASS ’79.
