THE LEGACY PROJECT

After 40 years of making our mark on the world, raising our children and in some cases even our grandchildren, we have come full circle to Central High School (CHS). We are at the juncture in our life where posterity is important and what happens to the next generation is significant. Therefore, we have been seeking ways to give back to the communities where we currently reside. In like manner, we want to impact the institution that help to mold our lives and ushered us to embrace the world. Thus, the concept of The Legacy Project was initiated to identify opportunities to support CHS and to make a difference for the students that attend that school. This year’s Legacy Project is a sound system for the CHS Cafeteria/Assemble Hall. Previously, when a sound system was needed, speakers and monitors were brought in from a storage area into the cafeteria then returned. To solve that problem, the Class of 1979 Alumni Association, raised funds and presented the school with a Sound System that valued over five thousand dollars. With the help of God we will soon identify the next project.
