“The whole week was a pleasant blast! Starting off with the Church Service, the Beach Party/Cooler Fete, the Sunset Cruise, the Glow Party Family Night Bowling, the Walk for Diabetics, the Masquerade Banquet at the Fort, the 2019 Graduating Class and most importantly, the time we spent together reacquainting with old friends and forging new friendships made the whole week something special to remember.”
This is what I envision reading when we all return from our long awaiting 40th Class reunion this year!
Our class reunion planning committees have been organizing our events and setting the mood for fantastic occasions!
It is truly special to find yourself in the company of the students you knew way back then, many from as far back as junior high and elementary school, and to see with our eyes how they turned out and fill in some of the blanks about who they really were and are now.
At our age, we have nothing left to prove. Our insecurities and rivalries have all been left behind, yet we still want to look our best, and I am sure we will.
Though the deaths and serious illnesses of several classmates have forced us to confront our own weaknesses and mortality, this reunion is shaping up to be the best reunion possible, so let’s all party like it’s 1979!
